The Scottish Tech Army Story
Formed in 2020 during the first UK lockdown of the pandemic, the Scottish Tech Army was born out of a desire to provide tech support to COVID recovery projects.

In our experience, most of the projects we do suit people with 3+ years of experience in their field. We need you to be confident in your skills and ready to collaborate with a team.

Once you register, you’ll be invited to an orientation session with our team. You can join our Slack community and you’ll pick your first project, or we’ll match you up with one that seems like a good fit.

This happens sometimes – the nature of volunteering is that, sometimes, other commitments will take priority. In this situation, we just ask that you let us know so that we can hand your project commitments over to somebody else.
