Mobilising the UK’s tech talent for good

We are the Scottish Tech Army

We bridge the gap between technical challenges and expert solutions for the third sector, managing the end-to-end project process from volunteer matching to final delivery.

Macroeconomic conditions are intensifying the squeeze on third-sector resources, leaving many organisations unable to afford the technology they need or that would benefit them.

Our model addresses this by matching expert volunteers with specific projects to deliver high-impact digital solutions and managing the process from end to end. We provide practical answers to real-world problems without the prohibitive costs.

The long-term challenge

Delivering solutions for the third sector

We started during the pandemic, which revealed a critical digital gap in the third sector. The crisis encouraged organisations to look actively at how technology could help them.

Since then, organisations we’ve supported are seeing significant benefits from technology - many are returning with bolder ideas and more are stepping forward for digital support.

Be part of the mission

Critically, we always need more people with the skills, experience and motivation to come on board and deliver these projects.

If you’re looking for meaningful, skills-based volunteer work, then please step forward and join our community! Learn more about the experience from hearing Byron and Pamela’s stories.
