What’s expected of you
Experience: Most roles require 3+ years’ experience in your field. You don’t need to be an expert, just confident in your skills and ready to collaborate.
Time: Volunteering typically takes 2–6 hours a week over 4–12 weeks. You won’t be locked into anything—we’ll match you with a project that suits your skills, and if it’s a good fit, you’ll join the project.
See the project through to completion. You’ll choose whether to join a project, and once you’re in, we ask that you stick with it until the end. Most projects run for 4–12 weeks with a flexible 2–6 hour weekly commitment.

Once you register, you’ll be invited to an orientation session with our team. We’ll add you to our Slack community and you’ll pick your first project, or we’ll match you up with one that seems like a good fit.

This happens sometimes – the nature of volunteering is that, sometimes, other commitments will take priority. In this situation, we just ask that you let us know so that we can hand your project commitments over to somebody else.
